Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Foodi ("we", "us") at https://foodi.blog collects, uses and protects information when you visit the site.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use this only to reply to you and keep it no longer than needed.
- Ratings. When you rate a recipe, we store the rating and a one-way, scrambled version of your IP address so each visitor can rate a recipe only once. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
- Saved recipes. Recipes you "Save" are stored in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us.
- Automatic information. Like most websites, our server and our partners receive standard data such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use a necessary cookie to protect the contact form from spam. Our advertising and analytics partners described below also use cookies.
Google AdSense and third-party advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message, managed through Google, before personalized ads are used.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which recipes are popular). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed and time on site. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies, the site will still work, but ads may be less relevant.
Your privacy rights (US states including California)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. To make a request, email hello@foodi.blog. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Recipes may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
